4 matches for mercury.

For clarification: Page 497 seems to suggest that the Mercury symbol represents the power to take bodies. Is this correct?

yes

Probably been asked before, but what does the symbol on Rey's forehead on page 55 stand for?

It is the symbol for mercury.

Was Reynardine really trying to take over Annies body (page 53)? I noticed that he already had the symbol (which means he's under her control) when he made the jump. How come?

That was a different symbol. It was the symbol for Mercury.

In Chapter 3, the symbol on "Reynardine's" forehead is for mercury, the wiki tells me, but that seems at most an uncommon variant of the mercury symbol (more standard is Venus-plus-circumflex, and you did use standards for antimony and lead). Why?

I wanted to use something a little different.
